Remembering Robert Run 2019

The start of something special…

On 1st September 2019, a small group of friends and family arranged the “Remembering Robert Run” to mark Robert’s 29th birthday and raise money for CRY. Over 120 people took part in the fun run at Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy near Robert’s childhood home. Many kindly donated cakes to celebrate afterwards and we raised £2,256. We had hoped to make this an annual event around Robert’s birthday but in preparation for 2020… along came the c word!

And then A K A Day was born! Thanks Lisa Giove…

Originally designed as a virtual charity challenge to encourage people to get out and move more during the pandemic, the event has grown and we still strongly believe in promoting daily movement for physical and mental well being. The bonus being that you can take part in an inclusive charity challenge to help raise money and awareness for CRY and #RememberingRobert
