The Heart of the Community Partnership
The Heart of West London is a long-term partnership and commitment bringing together key players in the cardiac health world to make a difference. We are Brentford FC, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals Charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young, Resuscitation Council UK, Pablo London and A K A Day.
From ground-breaking research and life-saving screenings, to increased CPR awareness and small lifestyle changes, we all have the same goal… to save lives.
Suzanne Rowan, on behalf of A K A Day, said:
“We are delighted to be part of the HOWL partnership. As a small group raising money for CRY, we are so pleased to be amongst so many great charities and amazing people to help change the heart game in the local community. I am even more honoured to be doing so in memory of Robert and to help raise awareness of heart health. Brentford FC are a family club and the support they have given us to not only remember Robert but help others by fundraising for heart screenings for young people is incredible.”
Brentford FC
“Rob is fondly remembered by all at Brentford FC and left a lasting legacy thanks to his work in scouting, the recruitment of players and creation of our B Team. The Club is proud to continue campaigning in his honour.”
Thomas Frank, the Bees boss added:
“It’s a very, very nice way of promoting the legacy of Robert, which will hopefully help a lot of other people. We’re on a fantastic journey and hopefully he is looking down from the sky very happy and pleased with where we are, sitting there with a big smile on his face.”
