The Brentford Lifeline Society Christmas Event 2025 was a thoroughly uplifting evening, reflecting the generosity and community spirit at the heart of the Lifeline Society. Held during the festive season, the event raised vital funds for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) in memory of Robert Rowan, while also supporting the local community through donations to the Brentford Food Bank.
The response to the appeal for items for the Hounslow FoodBox exceeded all expectations, drawing heartfelt thanks from Trustee Jennifer Prain for the remarkable generosity shown. The evening also featured a raffle and mini‑auction, with prizes donated by members of the Brentford First Team squad and Club Partners Gtech and Aosom. Together, these raised an impressive £2,000 for CRY. Robert’s wife, Suzanne Rowan, was deeply moved by the overwhelming support for this important cause. A huge thanks once again to Peter and Linda Gilham for such an incredible evening and for their ongoing support to fund more heart screenings with Cardiac Risk in the Young.
Founded in 1986, the Brentford Lifeline Society continues to play a vital role in supporting Brentford Football Club. To join for just £2 per week, please email lindajgilham@icloud.com for an application form.
