A New-bee to the A K A Day Team!

I’m Ashley and as well as being Suzanne’s cousin, I take full credit for introducing her to Rab!  In 2009 I started a new job in Toys R Us, where Rab was part of the team.  From the outset he was full of character and fun – and in fact was the first ever entry in the accident book there!  We became great friends quickly and  I always knew he was capable of big things!  Turns out I have great intuition.

I have taken part in AKA Day each year as a Queen Bee and have enjoyed both the physical and mental benefits of doing so.  I currently live in Dubai and also travel a lot for work – so far this year I have taken 18 flights!  This always encourages me to get up and outside, where ever in the world I may be, to ensure I complete the goal for the month rather than not making it out of the hotel or airport.

Last year I completed my KMs in 8 different countries and doubt I can beat it this year – though I am going to give it a good shot so keep your eyes peeled for my updates each day!

This year I was asked to be part of the Hive.  As the challenge gets bigger each year – so does the work behind the scenes, and I of course jumped at the chance.  I am looking forward to bringing you new content, encouraging you to complete your challenge and seeing all the fellow international participants who take part!
